Lionel Customer Service Return Policy
All parts purchased through Lionel Customer Service are eligible to be returned and refunded or exchanged within thirty (30) days of the original date of purchase.
All returned items MUST have an RA (Return Authorization) number clearly marked on the outside of the shipping box AND be in new condition with all components supplied in working order in original packaging.
All returned merchandise for credit or exchange are subject to a testing / re-stocking fee of 15%
No refunds or exchanges will be made for components damaged by improper handling or improper installation OR for items damaged by operation with equipment or systems containing defective peripheral electronic components.
INSTRUCTIONS TO RETURN YOUR ORDER
If you need to return or exchange merchandise from your part order you must FIRST call 1-800-4LIONEL (1-800-454-6635) or email TalkToUs@lionel.com. Please have the order number and reason for your return. You will receive a return authorization (RA) number to ensure your merchandise will be properly tracked and handled upon receipt at Lionel LLC.
No refund or exchanges will be given if Lionel LLC is contacted AFTER thirty (30) days of original purchased date.
Please make sure all the above instructions are followed carefully. Lionel LLC is not responsible for any packages received without first receiving prior return authorization and proper instructions have been followed.
REFUNDS/CREDITS
Orders purchased by credit card will have the refund amount credited back to the credit card used for the original purchase within 30 days of the returned item being received. The refunded amount may take up to 60 days to appear on your credit card statement. Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable.
